Product Description
The QNAP TS-h1290FX is a 12-bay tower NAS for centralised U.2 NVMe storage in professional environments. It runs QuTS hero, using the ZFS file system to provide snapshots, compression, deduplication and block self-healing. Integrated connectivity comprises two 25GbE SFP28 ports and two 2.5GbE RJ45 ports.
The three configurations share the same storage, networking and expansion platform, with different processors and installed memory. The TS-h1290FX-7232P-64G combines an AMD EPYC 7232P processor with 64 GB of DDR4 ECC Registered RAM. The TS-h1290FX-7302P-128G and TS-h1290FX-7302P-256G use an AMD EPYC 7302P processor with 128 GB and 256 GB respectively. The platform has eight DIMM slots and is supplied without drives.
Hardware expansion is provided by three PCIe 4.0 x16 slots and one PCIe 4.0 x8 slot. The chassis has two 92 mm system fans and an 80 mm CPU fan, with a single 750 W power supply accepting 100–240 V input.
